YOKO ONO TYPEFACE

The Lennon family embarked on a tribute to John and Yoko by creating typefaces in their own handwriting. I used Glyphs to bring Yoko Ono's personal touch to life, by crafting a bespoke handwritten brush script font. Each letter was crafted from a unique blend of her writing samples, capturing the structured aesthetic of her style. I also added an extra touch of authenticity by designing a set of custom ligatures, giving the final typeface a more lifelike representation of Yoko's handwriting. This project was a true labour of love that resulted in a font that truly captured Yoko's unique writing style.
